Fresh Marcus started rhyming in 1986, enamored and respectful of what he saw taking root in urban culture.  He maintained and grew through a decades-long series of talent shows, house parties, campus concerts, underground shows, recording sessions, and industry gatherings.

His first album, Transformation, was collectively brought to the streets in 2003 after existing for many years on paper and in the mentals.
